cargo cover brackets????

hello I need some help. I just bought a roll up cargo cover for my '07 4runner. It did not come with one and I guess I didn't realize that I need the 'Mounting Brackets' for the cover to latch into near the rear door. I figured the brackets would be behind the access covers..... but I was wrong. Does anyone know where I can find these in light gray.... or what they might cost? THANKS!!!

I added one to my T4R about a month ago. I just got the parts from a dealership, they weren't horribly expensive.

You will need to ask them for the tonneau cover hook, screw, and screw insert. It cost me about $50 for all of it. Almost all of that cost is for the tonneau cover hooks. They are about $22 ea. from what I remember. Screws and screw inserts are a few bucks a pair.

If you do order for them make sure that they order all three. When I ordered mine they said I only needed the hook and screw. Needless to say I had to go back and get them. The screw will not catch on anything if you do not have the insert to slide over the plastic behind where the tonneau hook goes for the screw to grab onto.

Got the hooks today from the dealer. Cost me $63 and they don't come with bolts. They threw those in for free. Fit great!

If I may ask, how much was the cover? My T4R came without it and I'm debating getting one or the other option is getting my rear and side windows tinted as I carry a lot of stuff. The tint will cost me $250.00. I don't want my things to become somebody else's treasure.

well from Toyota they are $630! lol They are on ebay used usually around $100-125. I got lucky and got one on ebay for $60! I would tint as well if you don't have any thint at all.... but you should have factory tint right? 4Runners look silly with no tint

Thanks
Ouch on the Toyota price. I've spent $450 on the cover for my wife's FX. I do have the factory tint, but planning on getting the darker tint over it and perhaps light tint in the front.

Check ebay out for sure if you really want a cover. a lot of people don't like them or just don't use it and would rather sell it for $100....

I think all 4th gens are tinted from the factory. I haven't seen one without tint. Only can recall base 2nd and 3rd gens without tint, typically the 4-cyl variant.

I know this is resurrecting an old thread but, there may be others looking for this info...

I purchased an 04 4Runner for my daughter, it has the third row seats but she needs the rear cover for her school stuff and sports equipment. Took the third row seats out and ordered the following parts to add the hooks for the cargo shade

Cover hooks: 64938-35030-B0 and 64946-35030-B0 (left and right)

Screws (2): 93240-56020

Screw spring nuts (2) (inserts): 90080-18062

Total was about 50.00 for all the pieces.

Hope this helps...

Thread res!

On Toyota Parts Deal I am having trouble discerning the color options - they are - "Stone" and "Fawn."

As far as I know the 4th gen interiors came in Stone and Taupe, so what on earth is "Fawn"? I have a taupe interior and am trying to find some part, and was curious if "Fawn" is actually taupe?
