I completely agree. This forum is incredible and I love participating here. Tons of info and generous individuals.

I was going to start a similar "I love T4R.ORG" thread when I saw your new thread. Apparently a couple people are not as happy as we are with this forum.........to that I say oh well. With thousands of members there is bound to be a couple people that can find something to be upset about. I am at the opposite end of the spectrum and am completely addicted to T4R.ORG

I find T4R.ORG much easier to use and certainly much more focused on 4th gens than yota. Thank you to all the members, especially the mods and admin. Try not to worry about those few individuals that caused a scene. There will always be someone that can find something to get upset about. Example, that Jack-in-th-Box commercial where Jack is being interviewed by the French reporter and the reporter starts getting mad at Jack and Jack is totally nice to him, when it continues, Jack waves his hand in a manner that suggests he is getting annoyed. Well, that is just the image that came to my mind.

My main point in posting was to say I love this forum and thank everybody. This forum has made the experience of owning my 4runner even more fun.

I am glad to hear it has been a good site for some people. It just goes to show you can't please everybody. Thanks for the compliments guys. Thai and GG were the ones that got this site going, so they deserve the "thank you's" more than anybody else, especially since they seem to catch the brunt of the storms.

i agree that this is a great forum. i feel that the mods are good at keeping flamers away in order to maintain the integrity of the forum. it does not make sense to me that there are people who like to disrupt the ambience of this forum. true, a forum is not a forum without some disagreements, but disagreements that are off topic are completely unnecessary IMO. if i hated this forum for whatever reason, i'd just leave and never look back. i'm glad the mods are quick to put away these unnecessary disputes.

thank you t4r.org

Thanks for the support everyone! It is very nice to hear such support from the forum! You guys are what keep this forum running.

There's one topic that i would like to talk about. GG and I started this forum because I wanted a forum for 4runners. GG gave me the software and website. Please remember that neither one of us are computer experts nor into these things professionally. We do not get any "profits" whatsoever from this site. It's FREE because GG is paying the bills. We have day jobs. GG is spending his own $$ to support this forum. Thus, he has some small advertisements to help him recover some lost $$.

I get passionate about certain things just like everyone else. From the very beginning, i have expressed my views on many topics, just like everyone else. I was reading a YT's thread yesterday mentioning how i made comments that are unbecoming of an admin. My response: i don't give a rat's ass! I am a regular member on this forum like everyone else...and i intend on acting like a member and expect to be treated like everyone else. I should not be treated any differently. I argue about certain things, and i will admit when i am wrong. I am here because of my love for Toyota and 4runners. Period. I have no intention on acting godly or being hands-off. I will participate...just like any other member of this forum.

Again, thank you for the support. This forum will keep running until GG declares bankruptcy!

One more thing...

Some of YT's members have criticize this site for catering to 4th gen owners. My response: so what! If this is the case, then so be it. Natural progression of the forum. Why the hell should i stand in the way?? At the same time, we certainly will not turn previous gen owners away. In fact, at times, i have pointed a few members to YT or 4x4wire for more info. Hey, i am here to try and help 4runner owners. There's no blood loss or competition between us and YT or 4x4wire. Each forum has it's niche. YT is a great forum, and so is 4x4wire. If you don't like us, then feel free to move on. If you openly criticize this forum on my forum, then be ready for some heat.

This forum is free to move in whatever direction...i am here for the ride.

I love this forum too. I really haven't taken the time to look at the other boards. All of my questions have been answered completely and I have even learned new things when searching through the old threads. I never had a problem with anyone on this board. Yeah, there are some people who don't like this board and find faults on it. My opinion is if we all take the time to read and contribute to this board, we all have a passion for 4Runners. Why can't we all just get along?? Anyway, keep up the good work. If I didn't like this board, I would not have a t4r.org sticker on the back of my truck.

Every relationship comes across hard times.

I still think this board is fantastic, along with all the other boards out there. They all have their pros and cons.

Though it's not my #1 forum of choice, that may change when I finally make that jump to purchasing a 4th gen.

There is no denying that if you want 4th gen info, this is the place to be. Keep it up guys, when I actually can relate to what is being said, I usually find it to be good reading.

I agree with Scofco. There are a lot of good boards, with their pros and cons. We even have their links:

http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showth...?threadid=4444

I tend to mention a thread at another board if someone's question isn't answered here.
