removing 2004 tail lights and license plate lights

I ordered LED back up lights and license plate lights for my 04 4runner. Do the tail lights just "clip in". I dont see any hardware holding them in. Do I just pull straight back? How about the license plate bulbs too?????

The taillight screws/bolts are accessible from the pop out panels inside the cargo area to remove the taillights, behind jack/tool storage on the driver side and behind the sub or storage bin on the passenger side. I haven't taken off the panels, so I don't know if you can get access to the bulbs without removing the taillights.

The license plate lights are held in by two screws. Unscrew the two screws (four total for the two lamps), and the entire light/housing will pull out from the license plate garnish. Pop/pry off the clear lens to pull the bulb out.

Thanks. I will pull those panels off and look for the hardware.
