Just listening to the purr of a Toyota V6 after major open head surgery. I can't thank you enough to my buddy Dan for being an awesome friend and tackling this massive project with me, starting with a 10 hour day of tearing it down then 3 more days of putting it all back together, the first of the 3 days was furiously spent dealing with broken bolts and rusty that were snapped off in the engine and heads, so that day was a wash. But day 2 and 3 went great and around 1030pm last night we fired it all up. This 200k truck has a new lease on life, so thankful for Dan for his time and awesome company and we shared many delicious beers to celebrate the huge accomplishment.

Thank you! I definitely want to keep internal components stock. Never heard of anyone ever retarding the timing on a 1gre before

+1 on those cam gears. I installed them on mine with a plenum spacer and definitely could feel a slight hp increase and Im getting better mpgs.

Im also going to be doing my HG is a couple weeks.

Long travel installation is done. I went with the Total Chaos Race Series 3.5. RCV Axles and King Shocks with compression adjusters. Still some fine tuning and in need of an alignment but I'm loving it so far..

Some snaps from our still in progress trip from Sonoma California south via Santa Barbara and around the Sierras to death valley, red rock canyon, trona Pinnacles, Cerro Gordo and up the 395 thru mammoth and lake Tahoe. 1300miles so far and counting
