looking for a 4th gen.. v6 0r v8?
Im looking for an 04-05 4th gen. Trying to decide between v8 and v6. some towing. lots of mountain driving up I70 from metro area of den...
Any suggestions?
Good places in Denver to find one?
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Welcome!! V8. No doubt. I have a V8 and drive up the mountains a lot to go off roading and fly by people. I also haul boats during the summer with the 4R and it pulls them NO PROBLEM.

I bought mine from Stevenson Toyota. Great people to do business with. I found the truck on CL and then went to the dealership to look at it and fell in love immediately.

Good luck on your searches!! You're going to love the 4th Gen!!

Welcome.... This forum is littered with V8 vs V6 polls, discussions on mpg etc. Search and add a * to V6 or V8 as the search engine needs 3 characters to work properly. At your elevation the V8 would be a plus... Here's one short thread: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?t=56589
