moving on up...whats up guys!!

Well 2 years ago I bought a 99 4runner SR5 with 60k on it I swore I would never sell it. Well now its at 77k miles and someone has made me an offer I could not refuse.

It didn't take long for me decide what I was going to replace it with. I just picked up my 06 Sport V8 Black on Black CPO with 54k miles on it. Truck is mint. Basically it does everything just a bit better then my 99 did and I loved my 99 soooo

Only down side...Picked it up today in the rain so no pics!!

Two things I found out about the 4th gen.

1.) I am tall and the seat was up too high and I could not see out very well, the seat can be lowered, it took me 2 days to figure that out. It works much better.

2.) The trunk is smaller.

Oh yeah, one more thing the 4th gen. has a ton of cup holders.

Trunk in my 4th Gen seems smaller (with the seats up at any rate) than my 3rd Gen. The cargo cover is no way as long as it was in the 3rd Gen. Either that or it's some big optical illusion

Surprisingly the 4th gen cargo area is 5" shorter in depth than the 3rd gen.

The 3rd gen. is just ahead of it's time. Specs show the 3rd gen. 2 cubic feet bigger, but in real life, it seems bigger than that.

When you fit something in, it becomes obivious.

no downside

If anything after getting a Gen4, i have only kicked myself for not getting one sooner. I would like to see if the Gen4 seats would fit in my 2000, those are getting uncomfortable. V-8 w/5spd so so so sweet. Enjoy and Congrats
----
Thought of a downside, 12v outlets. '00 has three upfront and '06 has only one.
