Tire pressure when off roading

Do you 4 wheel drive folks always reduce your tire pressure when you go off road? Or do you only "air down" when you know you will be in sand or rock climbing? Do you use lower air pressure in general when off road?

For me, i ALWAYS air down at the entrance of the off-road park. I air up when i get back on the streets. I have 32" BFG AT KO. I air down to 18 psi for off-roading. For streets, i have it at 40 psi.

I run around 15 psi off road and about 50 psi on the highway.

However, if i know it's an easy trail i wont bother to air down.
