Hard jolt almost immediately after stopping

Vehicle: 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Sport
Mileage: 36,000 -/+

My question is to you all that have past experience or are very "in tune" with your 4Runners:

I feel a jolt almost immediately after stopping at a light (while still in Drive). It feels like a really hard shift. Is this normal? If not, what can this be attributed to?

It feels like someone ran into me slightly and pushed the truck a bit.

I purchased the vehicle used and has been doing this since I got it. I have only had it for 3-4 months now and haven't paid much thought to it until now.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Get under there and lube your slip-yolk. While you are there, hit the zerks on the driveshaft U-joints too.
