Factory service manuals - where?

Guys, can anyone give me a good lead on factory service manuals including wiring manuals for my 2004 4Runner? What can I expect to pay?

Thx.

Henry

You can pay close to $400 for factory manuals if you want wiring, body and engine books. Or if you have fast connection and couple hours go to http://techinfo.toyota.com/ and for $10 you can read, download or even print the whole manual. I love that site. Check it out.

I got mine (minus wiring) from ebay for $100 shipped. Download the wiring from the above stated post and get the rest from EBAy.

It's worth the $10 for sure. I got all of the TSB's, all of the wiring diagrams I needed and all of the repair manual info now. Doesn't get much cheaper than that (however printing all of these would use A LOT of paper and toner or ink, but nowhere near $400 worth).

Are the eBay ones real factory manuals or copies? They seem too cheap. Also, I noticed a guy selling service manuals on CD. Are these legal?

the repair manuals I got from ebay were factory ones...not copies. I think I paid about the same as everyone else. about $120 w/ shipping. Tracy's right, though...they are rather large, but I prefer to have paper in the garage anyways. I purchased the wiring diagrams direct from toyota publications...'twas expensive, tho...I think it was like $60 or $65 or something shipped. the same day it arrived, I found out about the TIS website... such is life, eh?

I purchased a CD. It said Toyota internal use only but it seems to be the real thing!

If you search, there is a link in the forums to all the wiring diagrams for free.
