Upgraded to a 4th gen

Done, I upgraded my 1991 4runner V6, to a 2008 V6 4x4 Limited.

What a difference :-)...

Now how can I get some bluetooth module installed on the JBL non-Nav system?

I'd like to keep the JBL radio and add bluetooth.

thx

There is an option called
BLU Logic® Hands-free Communication
But IIRC it's only available for 08-09 models, because they are prewired for this option.

Call to a dealer would clear things out.

Unless you have a factory head unit with a built in BluTooth you'll need to do an add on.

I hear great things about the Parrot stuff.

I got a great deal via ebay on a Motorola HF850 so I went with that. Well worth the $49. I paid for it.

I didn't try to jack into my stereo, the speaker that comes with it is plenty loud, I just have it sitting under the passenger's seat. For as little as I use it, it works fine for me. Very easy, clean install in the 4Runner.

Sporin,
How is the call quality on this thing (especially for the other caller)? Do they get much road noise? I just found it for $59, and I'm tempted to pull the trigger.
