Stiffer rear springs?
I'm looking for some stiffer springs for the rear for towing. Everything I tow makes the rear sag like crazy...is the 4runner known for really soft springs? I had a 2000 Limited 4unner and had no sagging issues at all, which made me think the PO upgraded the springs. Can someone point me in the right direction? My truck has XREAS if that matters...
Thanks!

If you want springs with little or no lift just stiffer the FJC rear springs will do it. Perhaps a better option would be Firestone or Airlift rear airbag system. The rear airbags are nice, cheap and do a good job of compensating for tongue weight.
Now for all the obvious questions: Is the trailer balanced right? Is it a camp trailer or something that would benefit from a WDH setup?

If it drives nice the rest of the time you're not towing, then airbags are probably the best choice. Won't really affect ride or handling but can air up when needed. A weight distributing hitch may be needed as mentioned by cj3, depending on what you are towing.

I tow our 15' foot camper, which isn't a big deal, but when I tow my girlfriends 16' horse trailer with one horse in it, it sags quite a bit. She nose loads the horse if there is only one so all the weight goes on the tongue. What are airbags worth? Do you have a link? How difficult are they to install with the switch/compressor?

Airbags alone are about $150 and install is easy. Add about another $200 if you want the compressor with it. I don't have a link but many on here have done it so a quick search should get results.
Keep in mind the bags will help sag but will not distribute weight to the front axles for better control. The tongue weight of that horse trailer probably exceeds the 500lb limit of the stock hitch as well unless you have the upgraded frame mount hitch (which you may be exceeding as well)
