Did a little more work, thought I'd show it off.. Mostly electrical.
First of all I added the '06 projector housings, did the squirrel finder mod, and put in a Philips 6000K HID kit
I got a good deal on some PIAA 520 SMRs from a member here so I put those on my light bar and threw the PIAA 510s on the back of the rack for backup lamps. I don't have any pics of either of those during the day time right now. I'll post em up when I finish up the '06 Satoshi grille.
I added 4 KC 26 Long Range lamps to the front of the roof rack and switched the KC bulbs for Hella Optilux 100W bulbs. The fairing has a "hinge" so it fold up and down to cover the lights when I don't want em on. When I need em I can reach through the sun roof and pull it down. It also acts as a shield so I don't light the roof/hood up when they're on.
And with all this lighting my hood was getting really crowded so I decided to build this platform from some plexiglass I had. I mounted my blue sea fuse box, 2 PIAA relays, and roof KC relays. Now everything is secure and tidy under the hood. No before shots, it wasn't dangerous but it wasn't very clean either.
Here is the output:
'06 Projectors w/ Philips HID 6000K bulbs (lows & PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow stock fogs)
Highs (with PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9005 high beam)
Everything (4 front PIAAs and 4 100W HellaKCs). The pics don't really do it justice but you can get a sense.
Backup (PIAA 510 and Factory reverse w/ PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulb)
Lastly I got some new SuperBrightLEDs SWFLS Waterproof Flexible Light Strips for puddle/running board lights. I used one 39" strip and cut it into two 10" (front) and two 9" (rear) strips. Two of the cheap ones I got from eBay went out; these were only about $15 more but are a little shorter than the others and the quality seems MUCH better.
