Fitment: 275/70/17 vs 285/70/17 with FJ wheels

Well, its almost tire time again. I currently have 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I want to go with something more aggressive but still good for a DD. I like the Duratracs and Maxxis Bighorn MT-762. I have about a 1.5/1 lift night now with spacers and FJ springs and don't have wheel spacers. Any thoughts?

I'd say the 275's. IIRC when people start writing about the frame chop it usually involves 285's and bigger AND more lift thsn you have. A final advantage is you can get a used, OE Jeep 255/75/17 and carry that for a spare. It's the exact same diameter and will fit fine.
