Going to make an offer this week.

Anyone in the Chicagoland area, what is the best price out-the-door for a 2005 SR5 V6. Basic package in this area is moonroof, spoiler, 17 inch wheels. The best price I have been able to come across is $28,453 before taxes and all the rest of the stealership costs. Also, I have a trade-in. Will the stealerships give me KBB for the trade-in and if not, do I walk out the door? I despise the thought of going to a dealer and haggling price. I want to be able to walk in, show them the paperwork on KBB for my trade-in, the best price I have received, deduct my trade-in from the best price and drive away. Any help would be appreciated.

www.carmax.com

Check out their prices on the road. Find local dealer who will go lower.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. It's for a 4X4. My problem is I really need a vehicle before the end of the year, I'm by no means wealthy, I just want a fair deal without feeling like I just signed my life away. Thanks again for all the help.

i think you should be able to get it for no more than $30,000 out the door (including taxes, title, paperwork, etc.). I'd try for $29,000. As for your trade in, sure you should get as close to the KBB value as possible. What dealership are you buying from? I recommend Libertyville Toyta. I've bout from there and the salesman there was very nice to deal with. Let me know if you're interested....I'll see if I can dig up his name for you.

By the way.....I named the price based on the fact that the dealer invoice for that truck is no more than $27,000
