Best $8.00 led interior mod ever
I saw this DealExtreme: $8.01 T10/BA9S/Festoon 2.28W 12V 36-LED Car Ceiling Dome Light Bulb - White on the other fjforums. I was skeptical about the light output and price.
I bought one for my dome light and let me tell you. The installation was easy and the light was super BRIGHT. It almost blind me when I look at it without the cover on. I was so impress so I just ordered another one for the rear cargo light. It has 36 led light on it. For 8 bucks shipped. You can't beat it. Just make sure you center the LED when you tape in case. Trust me. You won't regret. They have 48 leds too but it will be overkill with 48.
I tried to take pic with my cell phone but the picture/light didn't come out good.

Got 2 more to install on my sister's Toyota van. I don't believe they are that cheap.

Nothing special. If you can start your car, you can install it. It comes with multiple adapter. Just use the one for the 4runner (festuble (sp)). You can throw the others aways. Use doublesided tape to tape it center of the light because when the light on you can see them. You want them nice in the center.

I don't think so. There is a thread from other forums that it used less amp/voltage than stock. Don't quote me on that. I couldn't find the tread. I have not have problem with my 5 yrs old stock battery.

just get these
V-LEDS 6K WHITE 2W 4 LED HIGH POWER DOME LIGHT BULB 3022 3021 DE3175
they are plenty bright and V-LED had them to me in just a few days. I have tried the universal kits and they are ok but, I like these better. Just my .02 worth.

Just got mine in and installed - night and day difference - what an improvement. Thanks for the link-ordering another for the rear.

Not sure about OU, or if the lights are 5k or 6k for that matter. I just know that thing is bright compaired to stock. My sister lives in Tahlequah - I try to get a steak sandwich evertime I'm there.
