Hitch Question for Curt, Hidden Hitch, Draw-Tite owners

I have a 2009 V6 with a Factory Hitch, and want to replace it with a Frame Hitch. I have been researching the various frame hitches, and my preference is for one that attaches in the center to the back crossmember, as well as the side rails. So far, unless I missed something, I have only found one that has an attachment point there, and that was the Hidden Hitch Model $70411. but from a thead here, it looks like that model must have gone out of production sometime in 2007, and was replaced by the Model # 70779, which does NOT attach to the crossmember.

Maybe it's not really necessary, but for strength, I would greatly prefer that my hitch also attach at the center to the crossmember, so if I can't find a used HH #70411, I am wondering if I might be able to have a hitch shop modify the HH $70779, the Curt hitch, or the Draw-Tite hitch, by adding a center attachment bracket. Since I don't yet have one of those hitches in my possession to hoist up and see if my plan is practical and doable, I am wondering if those of you on this forum who have these various hitches installed on your 4th Gen T4R's can tell me by looking if such a plan looks to be feasible?

Also, another question, does the Factory Hitch off a V8 4th Gen T4R attach to the center crossmember? And would the hitch off a V8 4th Gen bolt onto a V6 4th Gen?

Thanks much for any input!

Is there a reason for doing the switch? I don't think it's going to increase your towing capacity. If I were set on switching I would use the one that comes on the V8 since it has a stock look where it fills in the gap in the bumper where the V6 hitch is located. V6 and V8 frame is the same so it should mount up with no problems.

Thanks for your response. It could be that you are right and the Factory Hitch may be adequate. But I will be towing a Travel Trailer, and I'm just not comfortable with the small Factory Hitch attached with 4 bolts that came on there. I prefer and always use a full frame hitch, but as I mentioned, I want it to also attach to the center crossmember.
