Has anyone heard of or tried these. Sprint Booster For Toyota 4Runner I hear that on Jeep Wranglers they actually work as they say. I probably would not spend the money but I am curious.

That seems a little strange to me... it doesn't increase hp or anything, it just increases the ratio of throttle position to pedal position and might make it react a little quicker. If I want more acceleration, I think that I can push the pedal farther and save $329. That cash could get me a trailer hitch and wheel spacers! It looks like it's only for 2004 - 2009. I don't know why the '03 is not included... maybe it doesn't have ETC?
Interesting though...

Some members on xru with the auto trans like it. theres a guy on their with a trd boosted double cab who tried it out and liked the results. I for one would like to have it and I might eventually get one but not anytime soon. as for pushing the pedal further thats the problem. there is a noticeable lag upon when you command power and when the truck reacts to the demand. I sometimes get it when going from a roll to WOT.
I have the SB on my other car and LOVE it. Yes, it does NOT give you any more HP, but who cares. It completely changes the throttle map and DOES make downshifts so much quicker when you get on the gas.
It's not always about getting more power. Sometimes, its about how easily/seamlessly you can get the power down and the SB does exactly what it promises (at least on my car). It is on my list for the T4R as well, over the winter...
I put one on my wife's manual mini cooper, totally changed the experience of driving that car. No more dogging first gear starts and now it is consistent.
Like others said, it doesn't increase HP but some of today's drive by wire throttles are rather sluggish without one.
