Can anyone help identifying this part????

Hi there,

I have a 2008 4Runner V6 SR5. This morning I backed out of my garage and noticed this part on the on the floor of my garage directly under where the vehicle was parked. Looks like it would have dropped off towards the back. What is it? Where does it attach to? How much work involved to have it replaced? Is it safe to drive until I can get it into the dealer to have it replaced? The vehicle has only 21K miles on it and is still under warranty. I am not sure what caused it to fall off?

Do you have an exhaust tip on your 4Runner?

Yes, I do have an exhaust tip. I did have the car detailed two days ago by a local service. I wonder if they broke it while they were waxing the car? Is it an easy fix?

You can buy one of those at any auto parts store. You're lucky they didn't steal your Valor tip.
