My Limited with all OEM sport hood

To do it right, it definitely takes a bit more work. $600 paint/install + $650 parts out the door. Complete factory swap.

I'm done modding my truck now. It's perfect in my eyes for an urban bruiser! And to think today, the day I picked it up, I was this close to trading it in for a new Escalade EXT.

Thx to all those who helped.

it is. just that it's not as simple as the hood.

here's what you need to order:

-hood

-insulation

-"hood bulge" (all pieces that fit into the actual scoop area - nuts, bolts, painted piece, faux vent cover, and vent grill)

-underneath hood stickers (not cheap)

fitment is obviously factory perfect. i'm loving it. my fav view is actually the profile view.

had a little drama from toyota. the hood was structurally perfect or free of dents, but there were some parts where it looked a little scratched and rubbed against. also the painted scoop part had a couple of scratches on it so i had them paint it all.

i was going to wait for a "perfect" hood but turns out there's a national backorder on these thru December. i want my car stuff done yesterday so in the end didn't really matter. was just peeved i was spending new part money. but then i did buy it at their cost (parts chick hook up)

nice! a lot of coin just to add a non-functional hood scoop, but looks good. i don't think you're done modding though. i keep saying that all the time

what size are your tires again?

it's actually a helluva cheaper than spending $XX,XXX on a cadillac.

i think they're in between 32-33.. do a search on my name. i posted the info numerous times. too lazy to find it.

That scoop finishes the truck off nicely. I love the complete look! IMO much nicer than any Escalade I have seen. I need to get a black grill.

Would it not be cheaper to just get a hood off a wrecked SE and swap it??

now you just need the sport suspension. expect to spend a lot more $$$$ than you did on the hood.
