you got FJ springs? if not, what type of lift you got? any pics?

just trying to gauge what it will look like final numbers I figured the rear is currently 2" higher from the front. So with the FJ rear coils I should get another 0.75-1.00" lift therefore I need at least 2-3 inches out of the front it should look level. I am thinking with 2010 FJ coils, v8, 4WD, Push Bar, and Rola Rack then the 0.85 will actually be about 2" of lift so now the rear will be a good 1" over which will still allow the truck to maintain a stockish stance. The last thing I want is Bro lift, so rather keep her ass up than her nose in case I load the back or tow anything. Thanks Crack!

I don't have it yet but I've done enough research, and read up on the suspension geometry. First, the FJ rears will not give you 0.75-1", most people get around 0.5". The 0.85 setting gives you around 1.5" on the stock springs, closer to 2" with FJs. the 1.75 gives you around 2.5-3" with the FJs. Some might consider that level but if you want to keep some rake you need to run 0.85" setting. A 1/4" spacer on the front may get you closer to where you want to be.

I can't tell you on the colors, but one should be a tad bit taller than the other. The taller one goes on the driver side. What color are the shocks? Blue/red is the trd package, blue/silver is the trail teams package.

No, those are not adjustable. Those come stock on the FJ Cruiser with the Trail Teams package.

Absolutely, any of the Bilsteins are a nice upgrade over the stock sr5 suspension.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The ride is stiff and quick to respond. Before this mod speed bumps were bouncy and now it is just a quick BUMP BUMP and no bounciness. It drives and rides more like a truck and I like it a lot. My passengers always mention how nice my 4runner rides and looks.

I just bought these FJ 2011 Bilsteins w/10k on them. I have an 07 Limited V8 2WD WITH 2011 20" Limited wheels. I am looking to even the truck out, have a more stable ride with no bump steering and keep it as comfortable as possible. I don't offroad.

Should I:
Use the front FJ coils and keep my rear from the Runner? (I don't have the rear FJ coils anyway)

Install all the shocks and use my original Runner coils/springs?

Buy a set of FJ rear coils?

I don't want to lift the rear, just level the front and keep the ride as nice as possible for street driving and light trails for fishing/camping

Do you have xreas? How many miles? I would suggest getting rear coils to match the front. It will lift som, maybe 1/2".

No, I don't have XREAS The truck has 105K on it. It a lil' too bouncy for me right now. Can you tell me how much more firm the FJ coils are compared to if I just use the FJ shocks and my coils? Or are my coils pretty much spent and that's why I'm bouncing now?

I don't have specs for coil rates on the fj coils. My experience is that they provide a smoother ride than stock, plus it's a good idea to keep things balanced. The bouncing is most likely from worn shocks, those Bilsteins should really help with that. Some minor modifications may be required to get the shocks to fit, but should be a nice upgrade and worth the effort.

Thanks! I am trying to find the rear coils now. I will put the FJ shocks and coils on. I still am unsure which is the driver's one just like the other poster.

I will measure before they go on and post so everyone knows. Looks like all I have to do is bore the rear chassis mounting hole a little in the rear and grind the attaching end down a bit on the front shock to install.

Any other issues or concerns with the install?

Nope, that's it to my knowledge.
