I'm looking to complete the same lift for my 04 V6 DD. Do you have any pictures with the spacers installed?

Did you end up moving the clip up to the 0.85 settings?

Any photos or insights are appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Where’s the cheapest place to buy FJ springs these days? RockAuto has the 81081s for about $75, anywhere else have them for less?

Update: Found them for $65 at AdvanceAuto with free shipping then found a 25% off coupon (code RMN25)...so $52 shipped to my door.

Just got front and rear for $123.51 shipped with tax. I was looking at OME colis earlier this evening and almost pulled the trigger. Thank you for saving me close to $300!! I owe you a beer.

Installing these with 5100's when the rears finally arrive from Wheeler's (backordered) and it warms up here in NY a bit. I'll share some pics when I get around to installing.

I heard those don't line up correctly unless you cut 1/2" off the bottom coil. Is that correct?

Are you talking about the rear coils? I put OEM 2007 FJ springs on the rear and they were plug and play on my '07 Sport. There's install info and a side-by-side pic of my OEM & FJ springs in this post if it would be helpful, and this is the stance with my current setup. Front looks high b/c of the perspective but it's actually very close to level (there's about a 1/2" front-low rake).

Seems like some have problems with fitment and some don't.

Lots of info here but I'm looking for about .75-1" of lift only on the rear as I already have OME on the front. Should I look for 07-09 FJ rears or any FJ rears could do?

Okay, now that you say that I remember people talking about aftermarket FJ springs having fitment issues, which was one reason I bought OEM springs.

You won't get that much out of FJ springs. People usually see .25-.5"

I'd either go spacers or Eibach springs.

Here's how we sit now with 5100's and Moog FJ springs installed. Had to trim the rear springs as expected but went in without too much trouble after that. Front was done without spring compressors as the set I have wouldn't fit as the coils are too close together. NBD.

I used the first perch from the bottom on the front. Looks like I need to move it up one more perch. Is there a way to do this that doesn't mean having to take everything apart again?

Have a set of Bronze TRD's ready to do. Just have to get some tires mounted up this week.

Next up is new sway bar end links and new CV boots. Fun.

Sorry for the imgur link. Was getting errors when trying to upload directly.

Yes, it's pretty easy to see where you need to cut once the 81081 springs are on the spring perch. I cut about 1.25" but some have done about 1/2". I used an angle grinder with a thin blade and made sure to spray some black rust paint on them before the install.

I gained a solid inch maybe more on the rear. I haven't actually measured the amount of lift I've gained yet.

When you are using FJ Coils in the rear with 5100's and want to add the 1.5" spacer should you order the spacer for an FJ or for a T4R? It's strange that the Daystar T4R 1.5 spacer are much higher in price than the 1.5" FJ spacer. I don't recall seeing this clarified before, also is there one brand that's better than the others? Daystar seems to be the most common. Thanks
NCH
