Changing interior lights, opinions?

im changing all the interior light colors to a mild blue.

in your opinion do you think i should just change the silicone caps? or replace the whole bulb?
and where would be the best prices/quality online (for caps or bulbs, based on your experience)?

i was thinking of buying the led dome lights from oznium.com
anyone have experience with those?
or have a better website for them? i am drawn to oznium because it comes with the connector, making my life easier.

anyone know the part # for the bulb on the door panel above the inside pocket?

thanks!

why not just put a disco ball in that bad boy?

(i personally love the stock lighting and do not like the energy zapping ultra white fluorescent LED crapshow that's so popular now)

i guess money's blowing a hole thru your pockets!

post pics pls when done.

I would change the whole bulb.

The Oznium LED dome lights are really nice. Very bright and good quality.

disco ball eh? hmm... could make a mod to connect to the dome light.... everytime the door opens the party begins... might actually look into that.

and i dont plan on making everything blinding to the eye. the only bright light is gonna be the domes and map lights.

as for pics, im more likely to make a video. then youtube it, and post the link here.

LEDs

I'm not big on colored lights myself but I do run white LEDs from V-Leds.com in my truck for the back seat dome and trunk dome lights as well as the lights in the doors.
I also run their backup lights which are much brighter than the weak stockers.

No complaints.

Trevloc,
I used these for my Dome lights and I like them. Here is the site link:
DealExtreme: $7.50 T10/BA9S/Festoon 2.28W 12V 36-LED Car Ceiling Dome Light Bulb - White

I used V-leds for all my other lights but I went with white. It is much easier to see things in the truck now. Go to Sylvania's website and they will tell you every bulb you need for your vehicle.

4runner8 did blue interiors, he was also selling them at one time. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/classi...me-lights.html i went with the oznium for my domes, (great) & v-leds for the others. something else u may like to do is the footwell light mod. http://www.top4runners.com/ja/2007/footwells.html u could also get em from here with a discount for forum members. 194_4_RB_W_5K V-LEDS HID 5K WHITE 4 M-SMT 2W HIGH POWER BULBS 194 168 158 for the doors (sold as a pair you will need 2 pairs for all 4 doors)

921_19_HP_W V-LEDS HID WHITE 19 M-SMT 8W HIGH POWER BULBS 917 918 920 921 922 923 for the backup lights (sold as a pair for backup lights)

3175_4HP_W_5K V-LEDS 5K WHITE 2W 4 LED HIGH POWER DOME LIGHT BULB 3022 3021 DE3175 (sold single for trunk dome)

For the back seat dome... I am not sure because I used vanity mirror size LEDs to go inside my aftermarket DVD/dome light combo system. I dont have a factory back seat dome light in my truck.

I did not replace the dome lights in the front seat area because I don't want to blinded at night while driving if my wife needs to turn one one to find something in her purse.

Use coupon code hoLEDays to save 15% (good until Dec 31st).
