My '05 Sport Edition 2WD V6 was $29.9K before tax and license.

RL-Daytime Running lights,
GY-Curtain and side air bags,
EJ-JBL synthesis 3 in 1 w/6 disc changer,
PN-Anti-theft alarm system,
NA-115 volt ac power point,
CM-Double decker cargo system and cargo net,
FR-Rear spoiler,
NJ-Garage door opener-Homelink system,
RFM-All weather floor mats (swapped out for carpet mats instead at delivery),
Dealer-installed rear parking assist (Echomaster with body-colored sensors)

What I paid is pretty much standard in my area, give or take a few hundred bucks. The distributor here happens to be the dominant retailer, so prices are pretty much non-negotiable.

I actually purchased my 4Runner from a small, independent dealer on another island. Since all Toyotas pass through my island, we merely intercepted my car before it was shipped to the other island.

The entire deal was done over the phone and via e-mail, with delivery in a parking lot. Couldn't get any easier than that.

$37,000 for a 2004 Limited w/ pretty much everything except the DVD/NAV system. MSRP was around $41K. Only 17 miles on it, nine of which I put on it a test drive. Bought it in Oct of 2003.

Just paid $24,600 for a fully loaded Sport Edition 2003 from an out-of-state dealer (Internet deal). It is 1.5 years old with 29,000 miles. 4x4, V8, moonroof, JBL multi-disk, compass.

Retired couple were 1st owners - very pristine!

Also, got 4.99% for a 54 month loan - I though not too bad for a used vehicle.

O4' Sport v8 4x4-All options including dealer installed graphite leather, dealer upgraded alarm, extended warranty and roadside assistance. MSRP $37,xxx Invoice $32,700... I financed $31,700 after my 1k rebate. My payment is $517 a month at 5.25% I'm fresh out of college and this was more than double what I had ever paid for a vehicle. I haven't regretted it since I bought it in July. It's sweet!

Unfortunately, I bought my SR5 V6 4X4 in early May '04 when sales were really hot for the runner. They were giving $750 rebates but it was very tough to find a 4X4 let alone a sport model. I only found ONE sport 4X4 and it did NOT have a factory sunroof which I wanted very BADLY.
Anyways, the MSRP window sticker stated $31,645 with the invoice being $26,965 including destination charges. Options included moonroof, roof rack, carpet floor mats, emerg. kit, and first aid kit. I got stealership to upgrade my 16" rims to 17" sport edition ones (it took them 4 days to find 5 sport rims). Tried for the addition of rear spoiler....but they wanted $650 to install it. I paid $307.63 shipping + handling by ordering off autoanything.com. Measured and drilled the holes myself to installed the rear spoiler, which has a brighter, longer LED brake lamp than '04 factory one. I got out the door in southern california (high taxes) minus the $750 rebate for $30,100. That was about par for what the Edmonds.com and my credit union's websites were saying the vehicle was selling for in my area at invoice prices. I could have gotten my hands on a titanium sport 4X4 V6 w/moonroof, homelink, JBL system for $32,600 out the door; but I would have to gone to San Fran (600+ miles from me) to drive it back. And....YES....there are days that I wished I'd done that! Especially when I see so many members on T4R.org with the sport edition models.

2004 SR5 4WD V8, spoiler, roof rack, 115v power point, sunroof, floor mats, leather steering wheel, 17" wheels, DD cargo, Compass mirror, cargo net.

Bought Oct 04, one of three V8's left on the lot, only SR5.
MSRP with dealer fees BS was 33,688.00.
I got them down to 30,203.00, invoice was 30,933.00
Plus, the 1000.00 Toyota rebate.
Trade in on my '98 Camry LE with 89,000 miles was 5500.

Final price out the door was 24,703.00

I pushed as much as I could, and had walked on another vehicle with the same dealer, which unfortunately sold two hours before I came crawling back. :o I wanted Titanium, I got Mica. In hindsight though, I am very happy with Mica. (My Camry was also Mica, or very close. I guess it was destiny.)

Back in Dec 02, not too long after the 4Runner's came out. I got my V8 4WD Sport for invoice, which I thought was terrific. Sticker was just under $35,000 invoice was just over $31,000. Very happy at the time.

Now that I got the creaking seat replaced, it's almost like new. Can't wait to get the Revo's put on this weekend!

Also ordered Nifty Catch-All Premium Mats.

Now I'm itching for some HID's.

It was brand new when i got it last January. It was printed in the newspaper as one of their AD cars (4 available). Didn't regret this purchase at all.

I got mine in mid-August for 28K out the door. I wish I could have gotten the moonroof though...it's really the only thing that I'm regretting not getting.

Do you think 32,800 OTD is to too much for a 2005 V8 2WD sport. It has all the option, homelink, auto dimm mirror, double decker, side curtain air bag, 6 disc JBL, 115v plug?? Thanks in advance:awais:

I got mine for $640 a month on 60 months, and that was with negative equity that I had incurred from my previous 4Runner (doh!!). Not bad. MSRP was $36000 and change, almost $37000.
