Got my 04 Limited V8 for $4500.
Has 230k miles but drives and runs great. Previous owner and all the timing belt etc done at 184k.
I think I got a pretty good deal.

‘04 sr5 4x4 211k v6 $2500 with blown head gaskets. Fixed it myself and I’m into it now for about $5500 as it sits with 228k and running strong. Couldn’t be happier

$2500 with 222,000 on the odo from a coworker. Was a company vehicle, well maintained. Replaced well worn seats, working on the small items. Will be grandson’s first car. Hood struts were shot, easy fix. Headlight covers cloudy, sanded and polished.

Picked up my 04’ SR5 (2WD) with 72,000 miles from a private seller here in San Diego for $6k cash about 5 years ago.
Had spent more than a year searching for my grail (Lexus GX470 in blizzard white & no nav) - so I was completely exhausted & didn’t hold out for the V8 limited 4runner I truly wanted…but she’s been a gem!

I got mine in 2022. In California. No further questions.
In all honesty, I've been following the Toyota market here in the southwest and I've been pretty happy with what I got.

Paid $28,700 (new) on 1-15-2005, she's a Galactic Grey 4WD Sport with 190K. Easily the most reliable vehicle I've had the pleasure of owning!

About a year ago I paid $4200 for a black 2007 V8 limited. It had 275k miles on it but incredibly clean. A year and 20k miles later I still love it.
