Wanted: Center Rear Bumper Section

The silver paint on the center section of my rear bumper cover has started to chip off. Anyone else had this issue? If anyone is looking to replace their center section with body color, etc, I would be willing to buy their silver version.

Thanks guys.

That happened to mine, too. I just sanded it down and primered it. Haven't decided whether to repaint it silver, or go body color yet... so it's back on there just primered now, which actually doesn't look half bad...

I painted mine "natural white" to match the rest of the bumper. I had a couple gouges and one small crack, I used some cheap bondo, sanded it down and taped everything off real good. Didn't even bother priming, just a few thin coats of high quality paint and it looks great. I'll admit I didn't sand the bondo down enough, but it's better than it was.

I thought about that too, but the bumper guard that sits on top was faded when I bought it, so I am thinking that replacing that piece would kill two birds with one stone since they are connected.

I just replaced mine.
From the dealer it is only $80, unpainted.
Takes a little more than an hour to swap out.
