I've called all the yota dealerships here in S. Florida and I can't get any deal lower than $950 for a timing belt replacement incl. seals, water pump etc. and a loaner car. I have an '03 V8 and they all tell me its a PITA. Should I just be happy with that and is it that much of a PITA? Is there anything else I should be aware of and anything else they should be looking out for since my runner hit 90K miles? Thanks!
btw...Brakes and rotors were done at 70K miles.
all service intervals adhered...
There is a thread on this currently sitting at the top of Page 2. Your costs seem in line with other (if not better).
Check out the thread, also contains some info about DIY..... Timing Belt Quotes

Sounds like your getting quoted on everything including water pump, which is a pretty good deal i think.
