"We're the middle children of history man. No purpose or place. We have no great war, no great depression. Our great wars a spiritual war....our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, movie gods or rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact....."
I have seen that video "4runner vs Samuray" one several times and that's my fav. That dude is driving that thing like he stole it. Tearing up that bumper...
Nothing special, for some reason the camera didn't save the video for the tougher portions (probably user error). But it's a 4th gen video. This was my attempt to drive to the Wheeler Geologic Area near Creede, CO.
Great demonstration of ATRAC. Who says you need a locker???

Here are two videos I took last week on my first off-roading adventure since I've had my 4Runner. I have a 2006 Sport V8 4x4 with a Daystar 2.5/1.5 and 265/70/17 Firestone Destination A/T's. The first video is just a simple hill-climb I did in the empty parking lot that has crazy grade differences, the slopes are about 1:1 so around a 45 degree angle, it was no problem at all. The second video is taken from my 4Runner and the Tacoma in front is a 2004 TRD Off-Road with a 3" OME Suspension Lift, 265/75/16 BFG A/T's, and ARB front bumper, enjoy.
Here's a picture of my engine bay after that second video:
