Smile Demello Offroad 03-09 Bumper: The cleanest bumper out!

So I figured I'd share my latest purchase for my 4R... the first production batch from Demello Offroad in SoCal. I'm a picky sumbich when it comes to this type of things but when Demello first introduced this back in October and I was sold on it.

You can get this with no hoops, single hoop, or three hoop. I wanted a single and love the look. Anyways, on to some pictures...

Looks great! Very clean, looks like it has more clearance than Shrockworks?

That might be my favorite bumper as well! It actually looks like it flows with the truck. And not just a huge piece of steel slapped on the front. Great Job

Do you have any information on this?
Weight, material specs, price, ect?
The Website does not seem to be updated for this product yet and I am still shopping for a new full metal front bumper. I'm a little put off by the DO cut-out on the front, not my style...But otherwise looks great.

Yep, I have the ICON 2.5 setup w/ the remote resi's front and back. The bumper itself isn't terribly heavy, I'd say about 90 -100 for thisn configuration. Did the front droop a little? Man, maybe 1/16th of an inch, a little more. The icon's took the bumper very well.

I think it does too. Another member has a shrockworks bumper and said that the splash gaurds go down pretty low. I love how this bumper opens up the front a bit more. Time for some 35's?!?!

I do.. if I'm not towing a trailer I use my versahaul to carry my R6 or 954. With the airlift bags in the back it doesn't squat terribly

Yep! That is why I waited and passed up two other group buys. The three hoop is sexy too, but I wanted a single hoop initially. The sides can always be added on later.

all the info is located here... DeMello 03-09 4runner bumpers - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum

I think the DO can be removed to suit your tastes

Just to clarify, its in the vendor section of Toyota120.com, not t4r.org. See link above!

Looks good - best lookin out there IMO.

Other than promo is there a reason for the DO and other holes in that section of the bumper. I know there are holes for a winch and lights but not sure about the others?

I would think that the big DO cutout may help a little when using your winch, to make sure it is spoolling correctly. I really like the look of the bumper.

Well directly behind the "DO" and side cutouts is the radiator, my tranny cooler, and another cooler (can't think of it right now). I am assuming those holes are there for cooling effects as well as when a winch is placed in it the holes are there for accesibility (although there is another hoel up top as well).

You can probably request for the DO to be removed but I like how it breaks up the front.

The more I look at it, the more it looks anemic to me. Not anemic in the sense that its frail, but it is notably skinnier than the ARB or SW bumpers, not sure how I feel about that. I kind of like the beefy appearance of the SW product. Another thing is how tight the side loops hug the headlights, makes me a tad cautious.

It looks great! Competition is always good (for the consumer)! Always love SW, but this might be my new favorite. Don't know how I feel about the "cheesy" logo/advertising?

Like the Satoshi - did it take long to do? did you get another grille or just mod the original?
