Pic request: Weathertech Floormats Black and Gray on Gray leather interior
I'm looking at weathertech floormats. I have gray carpet and gray leather seats. I was going to go with gray weathertechs but then I saw zstampe's ride which has gray frabric seats and gray carpet with black mats. One thing I hadn't thought about was that the dash is actually black so the black floormats match that and create a nice contrast. I'm still torn though. I would like to see some pics of someone who has these mats in a gray leather interior. Looking for pics of both styles of mat.
Thanks in advance

I don't have leather, but I'll say that the WeatherTech gray matches the Toyota gray trim pieces very well and the gray shows a lot less dirt than the black.

Black weathertechs ftw!!!
Ha ha, but in all seriousness you can't go wrong with any weathertechs. I like how the black contrasts personally. Last time I checked they have them in stock at the chux trux in olathe too.

I have the grey Weathertechs with grey leather. I will post pics for you soon. I love them, but the grey mats show the dirt and wear over time. I am thinking about replacing them with black ones. The contrast will look nice as I already have a black Weathertech cargo liner. It is just a shame to junk the grey mats since I have over $100 into them.

I have the grey weathertechs, and I bought them because our family van (Odyssey, also with grey leather) has black mats and the dirt is very obvious. Well, the grey look nice but I think all the time that I should have purchased black to make the interior more interesting.
In many ways it is a toss-up. If anyone has black and hates them, and wants to trade for my set of greys, just let me know as I *think* I'd take the deal. Mine are three months old. I'd like to see some pics before I commit, though, to see if the appeal of black is what I think it would be.

Those of you with the grey mats, I was wondering how they look scuffed up? I love my black ones, because of the contrast. When spraying them off I can see small scrapes. You cant hardly see it when dry, but I always wonder how it shows up on a lighter color.
At first I thought it was my girlfriend and her heels (and some of them may be), but have noticed marks on the driver side too.
I refuse to drive in heels, so I know they arent entirely to blame.....

I think I've made up my mind to go with the black ones. Chux Trux here in KC has them for cheaper than amazon.com but they screwed me over and didn't do my lift and tires like they committed to do so I'm torn between taking the cheapest price or punishing chux for not doing right...

The grey mats do not scuff or scratch at all. They do show a little bit of ground in dirt and stains though. They are floor mats after all, so they have to do their job.

I like the grey on grey. The black on grey looks out of place, almost half-assed. Just my opinion

This is the reason why you get liners.
WeatherTech Floor & Cargo Liners...(pictures)

WeatherTech vs Husky
Weathertech floor mats
Floor Liners
Toyota 4Runner Floor Liners
...if I did it all over again I'd get the Husky...
Photos will show you why.

Does anyone know if the weathertech or husky liners were modified as a result of the floormat recall? If so, what impact is there?
