New HID kit has one bulb out... Where to start troubleshooting?

So I bought a VLED HID kit 2 months ago and got it installed a week later. It's been great but I noticed in the parking garage at work today that my drivers side light wasn't on. I got out and sure enough it's not working. I have no idea where to begin troubleshooting this. Anyone have any suggestions? I already emailed VLED and asked for assistance but figured I'd check here as well.

Just a note, when I opened the hood I reallized that there was alot of mud under there from where I went wheelin like 4 or 5 weeks ago. Could that have caused it?? I wouldn't think so.

Same thing happened to me. I unplugged the bulb, plugged back up and voila it worked, never had the issue again. Doesnt make sense but it fixed it.

problem solved. no idea how to explain what i did but basically there are two little metal prongs at the end of two wires that have to be plugged into a female piece on another wire. One of them had come completely out. I plugged it up and BAM!! Lights working again.
