Thank you for this. I googled a diagram and it seems you are right. I changed the driver's side 02 sensor and that didn't solve the issue. I switched the 02 sensor to the passenger side and so far so good!

Just adding tot his thread so that there is another data point online for someone to see.

I had the p0430 code come up the other day. I have a blutooth OBDII code reader and cleared it when I got home. The code reappeared in about another ~50ish miles.

Decided to order a new O2 sensor from Amazon (much cheaper than autozone for the exact same Denso Part number) along with a crows foot 22mm socket to help remove and install.

Swapped out the sensor (Driver side after the CC) the other day and have now gone over 250 miles and it hasn't popped back up. Going on a big drive in the coming weeks and will update if anything changes. Hoping it's not actually the CC though at least I live in a state that doesn't need to pass emission standards.

Also the electrical connection was just as difficult for me to remove as was the actual sensor. You need a lil screw driver to push the tab down, I couldn't get it with jsut my hand trying to squeeze. And it's also facing the rear of the vechicle which makes it harder tog et a visual on.

EDIT: I am on a 2006 v6 LTD
