LED Interior Part Sourcing
Been looking to do it, going of the info on JA's page and Googling around has gotten me to a few LED websites. JA's source, V-LEDs currently lists a bunch of the bulbs he used as "Sold Out". Some of the other sites, to be honest, seem a little less than reputable while others lack enough detailed information (i.e. shopping by "color" v. intensity - I'd like 5000k). Anyone got a source they've used and would recommend?
Thanks.

Are you talking about LEDs for dome lights, doors, and license plate lights? Or, are you talking about LEDs to replace your cluster lights (LED dash conversion)?
If LEDs for the dome lights, doors, etc. I recommend this fella over at the 120 boards. LED interior kits for 120 series! - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum
If LEDs for the cluster lights, I can't help ya there!
Hope that helps.

Yes I have used eBay for all my interior LEDs. The shipping is a little slow because all have come from China or Hong Kong but all have arrived and worked. I spent maybe $20 on eBay for all my LEDs. They look great and are highly functional with a brilliant white light.
The step, door, map, license plate and parking lights are all the same LED (Eight 194 or 168 for my SR5). Two dome lights are DE3175 and one glove box is 37 (but I can't get my glove box light to work with LED or incandescent).

Thanks for the help.
Ignore the photo attached. Have to upload it to have a URL for something else.

Not sure if this applies to yours, but check out this thread, seems glove box lights come on with the headlights...
Does the 03-05 4Runner have a glove box light?

I bought mine from LJ_24 over on 120. He had a group buy going that included the two front map lights, center dome light, rear dome light, all 4 doors and license plate light. 5000k color temp. The price for that group buy was $53.90 for everything shipped. Probably a little higher now. You might want to get hold of him to see if he still has any left or jump in on the next order.

Here's a pic of mine. They're so much brighter then oem and have worked nicely so far.

I bought V-leds lights a year ago, based on recommendations on this board, both dome lights burned out in the last week...at $13 each its a waste of $$... the other lights i have bought from V-leds have held up well, I would stay away from their dome lights....just an FYI..

I have the same issue with their 48 LED dome light in my other car.
The Putco LED dome lights I have from Xenon Depot, aka KBcarstuff, have held up great. I've had them for more than two years now.

Leds
I have an overhead rear DVD player so my dome LED lights are different than standard but so far so good I have had zero failures, very happy with all of them.
Part numbers in my post here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/677429-post12.html
