Did the side mod to my V6, no noticeable increase in sound. Just 30 lbs in the garbage!

I guess everyone has there own taste in exhaust sound. I like a nice exhaust sound, but then that always becomes a drone at a steady speed, which for me (and many) becomes annoying after awhile.
Re the sound from this, it is just slightly louder than with the stock resonator, so I can hear it when driving. I find it acceptable, and don't mind it, but personally, I wouldn't want any more additional volume than that.
Here is how it it looks underneath. The muffler shop was able to use the existing hanger, and did a gorgeous job.

I agree, fantastic... I may just do this instead of getting the magnaflow muffler, etc. I was worried about it being too loud and annoying me after awhile. I would expect any muffler shop should be able to do this job. Regarding that tip, is that a single wall or double wall stainless steel tip? You have a part #?

Yeah, just find a muffler shop with a good reputation. The Silverline tip is double walled, stainless steel. I really like it. it was just one that they had in stock, so sorry, I don't have a part # for it. Here's a close up pic of it.
This kind of looks like it, don't know if it is the exact one though:

The muffler shop I got mine from, it was $80 installed and out the door. I thought it was a great deal.

Thanks very much! It's an SR5, but I changed out the roof rack and the running boards for the OEM Sport Edition ones, so the look is much better. The tinted windows improve the look, but in fact, where in live, in the SouthWest desert, it's really wise to have tint, as it keeps a tremendous amount of heat and UV out of the interior.

Looks good, cangler! Are those 5th Gen TE rims, or FJ Cruiser rims?

I kind of like those too, but didn't even know they existed until a month or so after I had bought my TE rims. Do you mind me asking where you located them?

I just stated in the fjcruiserforums.com's buy/sell section that I was looking for some of these wheels, and found somebody who was willing to sell. The shipping from AZ to TX was like $30 ea. wheel.
