Skulls 2003 Limited Build

Hey everyone I started a thread over in the new members area when i bought the 4runner and now that ive completed my first mod I thought id post my progress. So here is what it looked like when i first brought it home.

I installed an Overland Warehouse 2.0 lift and All Pro 1.5" wheel spacers on the 4runner last week along with some 33x12.50xR15 Toyo M/T's.

The rims clear the rear brakes perfectly without the spacers but up front the face of the caliper is just too tall so thats why i went with a 1.5" spacer to squeeze those 15's in.

Currently there is some rubbing when turning and flexing in the rear. I bought a RB 1.5" body lift that I have sitting in the garage atm which im just dieing to put on there.

I don't think I've seen a 4th gen running 15's before. Looks good. Can't wait to see what's next.

Second that!! i had a set of 32x11.5R15's that i tried on my rig and couldnt get them to fit. I guess spacers are the key! Keep up the good work!

The spacers helped alot but the backspacing on the rims is what got them close to fitting. Ill try to get a picture of how close the rim is to the caliper to illustrate how tight of a fit they are.

Gotta ask why you went with 15's? Personally I don't like the look and having that much sidewall and flex, but I suppose they would be better for rocks when aired down. Good looking rig though.

I like the look of the tire on a smaller rim also when aired down you have less of a chance of popping the tire off the bead. It also didnt hurt that I took these tires and rims off of my 93 toyota pickup before i put it up for sale.

So I started all the prep work for the Body lift which took about 2 1/2 hours to complete and was getting ready to lift the body on one side but my jack wasnt nearly tall enough with 3" of wood underneath it. So it looks like I wont be installing the body lift until next week when I can borrow my fathers jack.

One of my favorite 4Runners!

Tint the front windows, paint the roof rack and it will be my favorite. Also, give it to me and you'll be my favorite.

I do plan on getting the Windows tinted darker all around and when I get my roof rack it will all be painted to match. My main focus right now is to fix my rubbing issue.

There is prob a 1/10" clearance between the caliper and the rim.

More pictures salvaged from the camera. This was from our Christmas tree run last year up the Little Quilcene trail.
