Used prices for 03/04 4Runners

Has anyone purchased their 03/04 4Runner used? How is the resale value holding up? Someone visiting our shop had a Pilot that he paid $1k under new sticker (dealers around here are selling at sticker, some more) with 5k miles on the clock. Pilots appear to be holding their value. I was just wondering how the 4Runner was doing?

Right now used 4th Gen prices compared to new is scary close, like for a couple grand more you have a brand new unit.

Also seems the cladding is now a wanted feature, it did not at all effect the use car resale price, when they where new cars not all customers liked it but now you have people looking for it that want it, and the cladding sells.

Im not a Honda person I like their cars but doubt I'll ever buy 1, but Hondas over rated, they have built a name for themselves that sells cars with waiting list of people.

The trans problem did not slow them down, but I've heard of more Honda customers who where unhappy and felt the vehicle they bought was not the level of quality they expected, those people are now Toyota owners.
