Toyota To Stop Production of the 4Runner in 2006

I just heard on TV that Toyota will stop producing the 4Runner/GX470 in 2006 because they have been very poor sellers for Toyota. They said that it is not worth their time or money to produce these vehicles. In addition, Toyota said it is not worth their time to even try competing with the new Grand Cherokee. Maybe Thai and GG knew what they were doing when they changed this forum to g500.org!

APRIL FOOLS! Even though there is only 1.5 hours left, I had to contribute somthing to todays events!

Don't forget the ever wonderful Ford Explorer.

This was just to easy to spot as a April Fools joke, make it somewhat beliveable.

If I started this one earlier, I may have actually fooled a few more members. I know it probably was a little too obvious, but it came to my mind and I couldn't wait another 364 days to try it! Between Thai and GG's prank and this thread, I think cardiologist's will be in great demand!!

Honestly, I have heard that Toyota will stop producing the Celica as well sometime in the future. I actually heard this one from a Toyota rep and didn't make it up myself!

Thats right they still sell Celicas, I think the Scions took over their sales, I don't even see them at the Dealer.

The LC is done, say hello to the Sequioa Lexus version thats built in the US:o but that FJ concept is the LC right, well what the LC started as years and years ago

TOO many bad news recently,
Gas price is up, up, up.
Pope is gone,
Ausie airplane crashed.

Let's wish a good news like
Toyota will move the 4Runner production to North America.
