2005 Limited Stl Build.
I have seen some great trucks on this site so I figured why not get mine up. I have gotten tons of ideas from everyone here and you have all been a great help. So here she is!!
Day 1
NOW!
1st MOD = Spider Trax
before
after
front view
WeatherTech/Maglight Mod
Rear
Ipod USA Spec+AC connetion
Then came the SNOW!
DayStar Budget Boost 1"
Had it on for about a week and thought it looked a bit nose high even without weight in the back.....but it actually was level. The lines of the truck make it look nose high. Overall I gained about 2" on the front.
So then I decided to slap on a rear DayStar 1.5" spacer and now she sits pretty nice!! There is less an .5" rake on it which is perfect when the back is loaded down.
LED Bulbs in the Steps and License plate.
Anyway....hope you like it so far. I LOVE this truck and don't see me getting rid of it anytime soon.
Next up: BIGGER Tires are a must and I will need then in about a month. Perfect timing!!!! I had BF's on my Wrangler for years and loved them. Looking to got that route i think. Can't wait for that. I have a few other odds and ends mentioned in my Signature. The MOD bug is contagious!!!!
Thanks again for all the help and ideas....I'm always looking for MORE.

Great build so far. Careful! I remember the first time I lifted mine. It only got higher from there!
Can't wait to see the tires on there.

How do you like that USA spec pa15 module? I was considering getting one, and i want to know how well they work? How much did it set you back?

I love the USP Spec. It works flawlessly with my factory Nav unit and sounds great. Super easy to install and was able to hook up both an AUX and direct Ipod adapter that charges it and allows me to use steering wheel controls. I think I paid about $100 or $120 from Crutchfield. I has one in my Pathfinder and would highly recommend it

Hey I want to ask you guys about wheel spacer. What is the purpose of it beside aesthetic? from the picture above, it does not look that much different before vs after. Putting a wheel spacer will put a lot of stress on the ball joint and the suspension mount right?

Actually the wheel spacers made a huge difference. You cant tell too much from the pics. As far as stress on the ball joints there is not too much difference if you put on after market rims with a offset. There are people on here that have had them on for years and never had a problem.

Theres actually more concern about the wheel bearings with spacers, rather than the ball joints.
There are some who believe that wheel spacers are the cause for wheel bearings to go out sooner, but most never have an issue either.
