HVAC cluster LED replacement

I posted this in "accessories", but i see more people frequent THIS thread, so im posting here as well.

Ive become a victim of a burnt-out LED!

I need to replace the bulb that illuminates the fan-speed control cluster.

In this picture, it's the cluster that is above the guy's hand.

To be more specific, i am NOT looking for the one individual LED's that illuminate on the specific fan speeds,...just the one that lights-up the entire "dial".

Can anyone help?

Well just pull the cluster...The bulbs are attached to the back of the cluster.

Not really sure what you're asking???

Here are the part numbers for all the bulbs behind the HVAC:
90010-09015 long yellow
90010-09017 short clear
90010-09019 long green

Hope this helps, I believe I paid like $2.50 a piece when I did mine.

12V Microlamps (2-Pack) - RadioShack.com

its not led (none of your hvac is), but if you just want to replace it, thats what i used.

some say its not as bright as stock... but i dont see a difference.
they sell them at the store as well, you dont have to buy em online.

its 12v, thus direct replacement. no soldering.

Go to the stealer. They are not that bad I just paid $3.25 for the bulb. It is a 15 minute job at best.

$3.25....WTF, my dealer said $10 for just one, he tried to justify the price by saying the socket came with it, but jeez...I wish I had your dealer!

I ordered mine from Toyota Parts East...

The bulbs were very inexpensive to purchase, and need no modification. I pulled the whole cluster out and replaced them all while I was in there.

The Toyota Parts East had a parts diagram so I knew how many of each to buy.

Pretty simple job.

FNG here, and loving all of the info available on this forum. I just bought a 2005 V6 SE and found a couple bulbs are out on the LCD/Climate control panel. I just ordered the 8 bulbs to replace them all for $29.98 delivered from Toyota Online Parts | toyotaonlineparts.com | Toyota Parts Online. This was the best deal I found without spending a day researching prices.

I am attaching a handy diagram found elsewhere that provides the OEM bulb part numbers and the differences between the two versions of Climate Panels. The Limited and those trucks with Dual Climate Control option take 9 bulbs and SR5 and trucks without the DCC option take 8.

The other thing I need is a missing Air Intake Selector (55905-A, Fresh Air Button - Lower Right), which I haven't yet been able to source. If anyone has a cannibalized panel and would sell me that button, please PM me.

Thanks!

Found it under the passenger seat. Must have been a clumsy detailer. Luckily they vacuumed before wiping down the dash.
