i hate them, j/k i dont think there will be fittment issues since you have to wled them together yourself. if there were fittment issues that would be self inflicted :P

prepping the sliders is key to a long lasting durable coating.

Here is my recipe for success:
-buy a hi temp heat gun, spend the $20 at harbor freight for one. trust me.
-Rustoleum Rust Reformer as a BASE coat
-Rustoleum Hi Temp paint
-Rustoleum bed liner spray
i used two cans of each except the bed spray, i had left over from painting my roof rack. only need a little of that for texture so kiddies will not slip off
one hand spray the rust primer inhibitor.
one hand hold the heat gun at high.
you want to spray and then quickly dry it with the heat gun. this will make it bond and dry ASAP. waiting for paint to dry is like poking myself in the eye, fun lol.
repeat until done.
note: light coats, no need to layer it on since you are really really speeding up the drying process by using a heat gun
i noticed i would lay it on thick and it would run because i was impatient and hate waiting for it to dry. then try to move it when it was wet.
hi temp paint next. same process. its high temp so you will see the paint dry!
then i did a few coats of bed liner on the top for grip. you can sprinkle sand on a thick wet coat of hi temp also. but i had bed liner spray so why not. caution bed liner spray doesnt like to be heated as hot as the other two paints. bed liner will bubble when hot LOL.
here's the paints
here's a shot of my sliders at the front passenger side behind the front right wheel. this is where all the rocks and road debris will hit it. been almost one month and 2000 miles, no off roading yet though. idea is to show you how durable this paint is. i didnt apply bed liner to that area either. thats just dirt, no pitting, peeling, rusting etc
