4xinnovation's slider last;
I had a set with kick outs on my 81 Trekker for years. The kick out save the fiberglass bed from being destroyed when i rubbed up again this big rock in
an off camber situation.

When it was time to retire that project I mounted them on my current
project a 94 4Runner, still working at they should

My experience with 4X Innovations was great. I asked on their FB page about the lead time shown for the sliders I wanted. Adam promptly replied that they actually had one set of them in stock. I ordered the sliders on 26Mar21 and received an email confirmation and tracking number that day. They also shipped the sliders that day and they arrived on 31Mar21. Superb quality and the shipping from Wisconsin to Metro Atlanta was only ~$70 via FedEx Ground. I considered Shrockworks until I saw their shipping is $265 from Houston. The fact that Shrockworks' product comes assembled obviously makes a difference but the total cost including assembly and installation by a local welder (Cory Turner, he's great if you're in ATL) was still about $200 less.

The process: I ordered bare metal and took the sliders & parts to Cory, who worked out the fit and assembled the sliders. I brought them home, primed with self-etching primer, then painted them with the same Rustoleum Black Stainless Steel Metallic paint I used on my roof rack. Brought them back to Cory who cleaned the frame area, welded them on, then painted everything around the welds. Pics:

I'm installing a set of their bolt-on 5th gen sliders right now. The Easy side (passenger side) is complete, and let me just say: WOW!, so far this is a top-shelf, quality product with clean welds, stout steel, and laser-precise fitment that still allows for a little wiggle fore-and-aft to get all the hardware started.

And, lets talk about hardware, I think there is something like 24-25+ pieces of hardware on each side, with huge 3/4 lag bolts that go through the the front face, frame, and then through stiffening plates on the back side. Seems rock solid.

Also the ship time was very reasonable, the staff was very friendly and the price, for such a high quality part, is very fair, IMO.

I'm going to be installing the more involved drivers side, but, this being my like 12th 4x4, i'm not fazed, concerned or disconcerted by un-bolting, moving aside and re-bolted stock items. My last 4x4 had me welding up sliders, cage, and winch mount, so this seems like a vacation in comparison.
