3rd Gen Front Plate Bumper w/ Lights

4xInnovations -
First off, love the bumper. Plate bumper for a 99' Limited. Got it powder coated black and will get pics up soon but it fits, looks and works great.
One problem though… Bought 4" PIAA Yellow Fogs to put in the 4" holes (I know they're for square Rugged Ind. LED's but wanted these) and they are too tall with the small bracket mounting kit they came with. I figured the rock shields wouldn't fit since they're bigger than 4", but didn't ever think the light itself wouldn't.

Have you had anyone else call or ask about this problem? Just looking for any other mounting options… The lights just barely fit without the mount, so I haven't had any great ideas yet for a low-profile mount or possibly something from the back of the hole?

PM me or post on here - Thanks for any ideas

Hi Jake, to mount my round 4inch lights I had to modify the mount a little on my blazers. I can take some pics tonight after I get home so that maybe you can come up with some ideas. It won't be a complete guide, but should help ya look in the right direction.

I will be out of town for the weekend and plan on getting started on Monday or Tuesday evening, no rush until then. Can't wait to get the lights in, got some LED light bars for under the rear bumper as well… Can always get started on those till you've got free time for the pictures

Jake,

Sorry I haven't seen this post until now. Email or phone is the best way to contact us with any issues as I can't be on the forums every day. Can you email me some photos of the lights' mounting brackets so I can try to help you get them mounted up? email is just adam at 4xinnovations.com

Thank you,
Adam

After some time away from them I went back & figured out a way to finagle the set-up and really all it took was a small round file (after I got it powder coated the holes were too small for the bolts - and it helps to allow the bolts to come in at more of an angle, seeing as the lights fit just fine w/o the mount).

With the mount angled as much as it can (light front facing downwards, bolt facing toward engine slide in from front) you can slide the whole thing in and when you eventually get it fully seated, are left with a little bit of room for angling/adjustment.

The big rock shields obviously don't fit, but I will figure something out for those later. Just happy to get them in!
