I try to keep it organized, but it doesn't always work out like that. I will also usually try to take care of everything in an area even if it's not necessarily time to do each item yet - I think that is wise and probably saves a lot of effort in the long run.
I'll also adjust some of the mileage intervals so I can bang out several items in one shot. Like if I'm due to change my oil at 180K, rotate my tires at 182K and grease my driveline at 179K, I'll just do all 3 at 181K or something. I just make sure that nothing is going too far past the recommended interval.
