bought a 12' SR5, finally

well, was originally going to get a LE with NAV but fiancee dose not want to spend extra money for LE so we bought a SR5 today and it's a '12 model. even the sales didn't realize it until i call state farm to get quote. it's a 4x4 with 3rd row seat and power driver and passenger seats with moon roof and it's pearl white

i'm not sure what's the difference between '11 and '12 but based on what i saw here, the backup camera on mine dose have guide lines on the screen. nothing special on anything else tho. if you guys have questions regarding '12 SR5, i'd be happy to answer. looks like i'm the first '12 owner here

sorry about quality of the pic. it's dark out here.

Do you have backup sensors as well? My 2012 taco has the same camera you have pictured.

Doubtful, maybe in the camera circuitry. The lines are digital

The 12' SR5's have an option for the Nav system, or would have that put you over budget as well?

Interesting w/ the lines, although in the mirror like that I am curious how easy they are to really see.

I have to ask....does your have the wiper de-icer? (button would be on the left side in the row with the parking assist)

Oh..and... CONGRATS!

Congrats with the new SR5! Those lines on the rear camera screen are really nice, I always want those lines when I'm backing up on a driveway.

Sales and I both thought it's a '11 until I call state farm for quote, they told me it's a '12. LOL... we bought it as is.

The backup camera is very easy to use, I haven't used side mirrors ever since.

De-icer? The very first button from left? Then yes. I'll take some pic later.

Yes, it's a nice feature on a base model. Might be able to get an upgrade/ retrofit later on at dealer.
