Price all varies on what projector you decide to use. Labor charges from lightwerkz was around 680 i believe for our lights. Then you need to pick out projectors, ballasts, bulbs, and shrouds and I'm sure there's probably more.
When I contacted Caesar froim lightwerkz, his quote for a nice projector setup was roughly 1300 with me installing it myself.
I want them, but this is definitely not on the top of my list, and will have to wait in line behind a lift, wheels, tires, roof rack, etc...

Hard to believe prices have shot up this much. I had LW do mine Nov 2010 - entire cost (Labor + FX-R Stage III + all 'best' componentry + freight) was $900. I bought new OEM TE headlights from a T4R member, and then resold mine on here. No way was I doing the retrofit, but changing out the headlights isn't terrible.
Everything I did is here, + links + pics: 5th Gen HID / Projector retrofit installation (pics).

Really? what about 4th gens? So that means every 4Runner with projectors was a retrofit? I don't understand why toyota wouldn't include 4Runners with projectors like the sedans on their line?

I'm working on the GB details right now. I think you guys are going to be very surprised at how reasonably priced this mod is going to be. It will definitely be no more then $800 installed.
For my set, I'm going to be sending it in to get done. I want to see a completed set before trying to tackle a set on my own.

More than likely, Toyota will be bringing the projectors back for 2013 as part of their mid cycle refresh as they did for the 4th gen and recent highlander. This is their cheap ass MO. Every other car manufacturer keeps progressing and innovating, while toyota takes features away in new redesigns just so they can bring it back as new "refreshes."
I'm waiting to see what 2013 brings as there should be a decent amount of updates inside and out.

Lightwerkz did an excellent job for my project, but it wasn't inexpensive.
Caesar Rowinski and his company do great work as others can attest.
A quick glance at their website will show the quality of their work and the quality of the components they use.
Just my .02.

I just sent Caesar a request for a quote for just the labor since I had slowly been gathering parts together. Just for the labor it was 750. I guess I'll be giving it a shot myself and see how it turns out.

Seems like his price went up again. A few months ago it was 680 for labor only.
I decided doing it myself since the labor was so expensive. I purchased all the parts but haven't installed yet. Maybe when I get the time. I figured, buy spare headlights to try on( roughly $280-300) each pair. Worse case, you get to try twice for that price.
But from philsey's thread and other forums, Lightworkz does a great job. So you do pay for quality and experience.

At $750 per set he is making a fortune. I bet he can do 3-4 sets per day easy.
