Did you have to use a cable gland to seal it through the hole ?
You should use a lot of RTV in the cable gland....
Nice that you could get the lift color matched too!

Installed some diode dynamic h11 3000k yellow leds into the fog lamps, love the color and do a better job compared to the stock h16 bulbs...however they were a PITA to install, the 3 plastic tabs that lock into the fog lamp didn't drop into place very well..Ive replaced the stock bulbs before and they have metal tabs and when they drop into place just turn the bulb clockwise and ur done! I do not take the fender well apart to get to the lights on either side, normally I can change a stock bulb in 5 min with the passenger side being the hardest. I spent 3 hours trying to get the led bulb to go in correctly, one of the tabs was slightly out of spec so ended up whittling away on it with a pocket knife, might have taken 1/64 inch off of one and boom it finally went into the socket.
I hope these lights last many years because I dread ever having to deal with them again.

Well, decided to shell out the money and buy the black emblem overlay kit. I painted them gray to match the gun metal TRD wheels and also to not go the blackout route like everyone else. All was going well until I found out that the first "R" is larger than the other letters. Turns out I didn't realize they changed the lettering later on and used a larger "R" than the early 5th gens. Whoops. This is how it currently sits. My only other option would be to move the large "R" to the end.

Not all today... Just catching up
Hope I'm doing this correctly. Think I'm posting to the "What Did You do to Your 5th Gen. Today."
Hope so.
New to the forums, new T4R owner. Have been using the forums for research and info. for a few months (which has been so awesome... Thanks all!) but haven't posted much. So I'm going to play catch up real quick.
First new vehicle ever at damn near fifty years young. So stoked! In the past few months:
Gear America yellow D-rings. Look pretty bad ass.
SR5 license plate frame (most say TRD so I was stoked to find this).
Front window tint matched to the back stock tint.
Cooper AT3s
TRD air valve covers.
Center console organizer thingy.
Rhino rack for me fishing rods.
That's about it for now. Looking into NFab steps and TDR rims but down the road some.
For now just having fun and getting ready for Albie season and the fall Striper run. Rig is great on the beach!
Cheers all!

Congrats & nice going.
At first, my mind read that last part as a stripper run so I wondered who Albie was.

Found this emblem on amazon:
Apparently, its a toyota oem item. Keep in mind if you guys plan on purchasing it. It is a metallic sticker with a clear rubber coating, and its small. So basically, its great as a interior decal/emblem. I'm not so sure it is durable enough to be applied on any external surfaces.

Yesterday.
Went to Victory 4x4's open house. Picked up 1 rear and the console molle panels.
Hit some two-tracks on the way home.
Installed the molle panels at home
