Did some crazy off-roading in the Ozark National Forest. 2 hours of Rocks, Mud Holes, Off Camber, Multiple Water Crossings, Steep Hill Climbs and Descents on loose rocks / boulders. Used the rear locker multiple times. Pure insanity. About an hour into the trail we realized there was no turning back, only way to go was forward.
No body damage but got some pinstriping... I need more skid plates if I ever do that again.
This is a tame pic. Didn't grab any of the crazy sections that was most of the trail we were on.

No idea about that rotopax window carrier but curious as well. I have a dual rotopax attachment for my Front Runner but it sits higher.... Joes equipment makes window ones only compatible with Prinsu.

Just gone done lubing the propeller shafts. Ended up just running Mystik JT-6 Hi-temp No.2 for all. Spiders took about 3-4 pumps each, propeller shafts I just did 5 each.
I only have 2024 miles on it so I just wanted to make sure nothing was running dry. I'll probably hit em again at 10K. Only took me a few minutes to figure out where everything was, and roll the truck to the right spot. I did remove a small shield in the front to get to 2 of them.

I should have read the FSM first instead of winging it. Got the parts on Friday but here are 3 tiny gaskets on each side for oil tubes, which I didn't order. 90430-10024 and 11159-31010. Also took a while to figure out you have to disconnect the fuel line to the injectors to get the drivers side out. The passenger side is super clean but the driver side has a little a varnish, but still really clean. Hopefully it's normal because I have the notorious 1GR "whine" which I'll isolate when I have this put back together. I hope it's something simple and not the oil pump.
I think I might have driven the spark plug gaskets in too far. I did the passenger side all at once without checking what the old ones look like, so I just drove them in all the way to the bottom. But other the other cover they dont seem to be in all the way? They are a different color too, brown. The passenger side seems to have came with black NOK ones and the driver side brown TOYO? ones. Kind of like the Denso NGK plug thing on 3rd gens I guess. Was to do with legal contacts and the number of parts from which manufacturer they used.
I'm doing the spark plugs, spark plug gaskets (what triggered this job), valve cover gaskets, PCV valve, cleaned the MAF, cleaned the throttle body, intake gasket, TB gasket, oil pipe gaskets, and these 3 little rubber gaskets. Don't think I'll bother cleaning the covers because there are a bunch of sensors I don't want to pull off or risk clogging up the little oil nozzles. I'll probably clean out the oil pipe mesh filters.

Getting my suspension ready waiting on some special order king shocks. While I’m waiting, in building out the rear link kit to make it heavy duty using some high end joint s from spc. These are the upper arms. Lower arms will be boxed.

Same here! Where did you go specifically? The trail we took was off Granny Gap 1 Road and 1322 by Mill Creek and we did ours on October 13 I believe. We were supposed to somehow take a trail all the way connecting to Byrd's Adventure Park (we were told about a trail) but we were so late in the day and had to leave the next morning, we jumped on the highway and camped at Byrd's.
It was our first time in Arkansas and it was super fun.
We didn't have too many challenging stuff like yours other than water crossings and inclines with some puddles (though there was one deep crossing that me and the landcruiser took and everyone opted out of. It reached up to my headlight and rear license plate at some point lol), but it was a blast and nice seeing different scenery compared to Houston. Was hoping to see more Fall colors.
We want to go back and finish whatever trail we were told about at some point. It's amazing how you can just go in there and boom, trails. In Houston all private lands and such.
At camp in the Ozarks
After our Ozark Trail
This was at Byrd's
The bottom up towards the end of the purple is all we were able to do and that took 2 hours as well.
