The old ones broke apart. But it was easy to get the double sided sticky tape off by using my thumb and these lemon scent spray from home depot. Stuff just eats any adhesive ...
I did the
@Antman
cupholder mod this morning. The measurements he gave are accurate. I grabbed the cupholders from West Marine yesterday and was very lucky that two of the smaller ones were the last things on the shelf. I don't know if my local West Marine is going out of business but the shelves in the whole store were only like 1/4 full. I would have picked up some ring terminals for my upcoming Switchpros installation but I didn't know which wire gauges I'll be working with. Apart from the obvious difference in finish on the plastics, I like how this mod looks almost OEM.
I finally conquered Gold Mountain and took off the bucket list.
There was damage done. But it was completely my fault. I was not watching my mirrors and I backed into a tree stump on the 2nd obstacle to get a better angle of attack. On what was suppose to be the harder line. The easy line is NO longer the easy line. The line on the right ( easy line) has a DEEP rut in front of a HUGE boulder and another DEEP rut after the boulder.
The harder line is now the easy one. We had to winch my buddy up and I have to actually do a slow bump to get up.
heres some pretty pics... vids on my build thread:
and since we scrapped the paint off the new differential skids and the gas tank skids. And I received my TRD Grey spray paint. I rattle canned them when I got home. After getting an ear full from the wife about damaging the Rocky...

Time for a steel rear bumper. I'm waiting to damage my bumpers to upgrade, haha.
I'm gonna spend the day in the 4runner crying, drinking ALL the beer(not driving), and reminiscing. Donated the 93 I've had since new. I hope the Gary Sinise Foundation gets a gazillion dollars for it! Cheers!
That '93 looks very clean. Thank you for donating it to a very worthy cause! I will toast you and your '93 with a Yuengling Black and Tan!

2013 Blizzard Pearl LE 4WD - SOLD!!!
No off road, no fun photos like above. Changed the engine air and cabin air filters. Fram Extra Guard and Bosch HEPA, $35, probably less than dealer service.
My friend gave me nearly brand new front and rear valences from his TRD Off-Road. Matte black Plastidipped, then installed. Looks way better without the silver ones.
