Pulled the Gobi in preparation of my GFC install. Just waiting on the 4Runner GFC mount. Until then Iíll be shamefully rolling around with a ladder to nowhereÖ

Thumbs up

What did I do?

I got my Ď15 Inferno TRDPRO back from the the dealer where I, like a dope, traded it for an Ď18 X6 50i w/MSport pkg.

Yea, donít ask.

Changed my mind due to MULTIPLE issues and got it back home unscathed.

Man am I happy I didnít lose it!

Big Dope.

Time to drop a SC in it.

WHUT???!!! Although I am a big BMW fan (E46 Imola Red ZHP owner here), I wouldn't make that trade...ever. An X6 is cool, but nowhere near the SUV the 4Runner is. If you're looking for an SUV that will run the 'Ring in German, then the X6 is a good partner, but the 4Runner is THE SUV.

Glad you made your way back!

I really needed that public brow beating..I came from an FX35 before my TRDPRO abs I have a buddy who is a staunch bimmer dude. I miss the speed but yea, this is a way better truck. And I did some mods so yea, Iím a nitwit, but a nitwit who was clever enough to realize his error in time.

So, if I could only get this thing to go a bit faster, I got the sound system, the lights, the general look buttoned down. And low miles (21k).

So, supercharging is in order. Unless of course Iím being a jackass about that too.

Open to advice (and ridicule) be gentle

Donít expect BMW speed from supercharging your 4Runner. It will definitely make a difference but itís still a 4800lb pig. Big difference on the highway. It holds 5th gear on steep grades and has no problem passing. It will put a smile on your face but donít expect a rocket. What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!
Are you installing yourself?

AND! Fun fact: they offered my only $2k less in trade than what I payed for it in ď15! Flattering, but telling

Bought a 6'W x 12'L x 6'6"H (internal dimensions) trailer (4K GVWR) and started moving hundreds of miles across state boundaries to a new residence - still way cheaper than the full service moving company quotes I got.

The 4Runner pulls it just fine over the hilly terrain, but my long term MPG has dropped into the mid 15 MPGs.

Lots of preventative maintenance coming due in my short term future that's for sure.

Decided I'm driving it until I retire. Started minor mods...

Last week installed the ARB awning and sleeper/storage.

Today ordered TRD black wheels, installed led grill lights, scheduled roof rack and exhaust tip powder coating, and cleaned it after sleeping in it 3 nights this weekend.

I think TRD cold air intake next.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Built a drawer system. Went camping. Enjoyed the organization but mostly the fun in building it.

Got my fuel pump replaced today. Was given RAV4 Ltd. as a loaner. Sure was glad to get my 4rnr back. I donít like driving a RAV4 with all of its constant upshifting and downshifting.
