Put a single row 40 inch light bar on my frontrunner rack....frontrunner was back ordered on light mount hardware so cobbled it together with some tabs made from angle iron and ironically some scavenged brackets from a led retrofit kit.

Had some time yesterday between "working from home" to get my voltmeter and on/off switch (black one) in and prep the wiring for today. My OCD would of liked the meter over a tad but it fit perfect here without cutting any brackets behind the panel. OEM battery going on 3 years and just want to start monitoring...

How is the light beam since it is mounted further back?

Lost a expanding bracket

Bought a hood/Bug deflector from Toyota. Installing it dropped a plastic expanding bracket in the engine somewhere. Cant find it anywhere. Called Toyota, they want 100 for a new hardware kit. LOL Went to Autozone, they didn't have one so I bought a 700 lumen flashlight. Still couldnt find it. Now trying to figure out how to find an expanding bracket for the last bracket. Thats been my day. lol

I've only had the 4Runner for 2 weeks, but being that the family and I are vertically challenged, the OEM rock rails were not cutting it. Replaced them with OEM predator ones. They feel nowhere near as robust, but it is nice being able to climb in a little more gracefully!

Really good...with all lights off except the bar, it hits the ground about 15 in front of the hood. The hood does not get lit up and blind you like a top of windshield mounting position.

Did the same thing this week (Weather Tec)h . I pulled front 2 skid plates and found the screw and washer. PITA but worth it.

Added 275 70 17 K02 to the wifeys 4runner. Does anyone know the biggest wheel spacer I can run without rubbing? 1.25 ? 1.50?

Wheel spacers increase your scrub radius, so you will definitely rub your bumper and outer fender guards. Any particular reason you need the spacers?

Neither, both will cause quite a bit of rubbing.
