I put a coat of this ceramic wax over my chips and scratches and it looks pretty good! Time to go get some new dirt, chips and scratches!
Been thinking lately that I need to paint my wheels solid black too. 🤔

I installed a set of Dobinson extended links for the rear sway bar.
My old extended links were worn out. Install of the new links is mechanically easy but the lack of any instructions whatsoever will drag things out.
For $170 it would be great if Dobinson addressed what link length is optimum. From what I have read the sway bar should be roughly parallel with the lower control arm. Second, a diagram or photo of the assembly order of the frame bushings and washers would be great. Third, the nylock nut that holds the link to the sway bar is too big. There should be 3-4 bolt threads sticking out past the nut but their nut extends past the threads. I’ll probably replace those nuts when I can.
In lieu of printed or online instructions they give you are two little Dobinson stickers. Link quality seems high so time will tell if they resist rust well.

I was debating about doing this now or wait mainly cuz of the price. Besides the old ones being worn out, were there any other benefits compared to stock ride quality wise.

Finally got a low profile bumper installed!
I finally got a low profile bumper installed on my 19 TRD ORP. We went with the Greenlane Off-Road bumper. Pics to come. Are any other winch brands worth looking at besides Warn?
Thanks,
Joe

If your vehicle is still stock then the Dobinson links are overkill. I’d go for a pull outs from a forum member who is replacing the Toyota stock links.

I was up in upstate New York in the Poughkeepsie/Fishkill area tonight. They haven't invented street lights up there yet. I was using my Lasfit 4Runner specific LED low beam bulbs on my 2020 which is pre-LED housing of 2021 and later. It was glorious.
I understand that LED bulbs in halogen housings may often be a disaster, but for these specific bulbs, I have just two words to say to you: Suck it!

My bad, what I meant is did the dobinsons endlinks make a difference compared to the stock ones besides correcting geometry.

No need to apologize, those bulbs are great for times you're traveling under 30 mph.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!
Received my Weathertech window cover kit. Yes I might be able to make them with Reflectix, but it would take many hours of patience. I’m a plug n play guy. They block out almost all the light. The front cover let’s in a decent amount of light, but if I place a piece of Velcro on the window I think I can reduce most of it. Even with the amount of light coming in it’s still going to be plenty of light blocking for camping. They also block a decent amount of noise. I will only be using the black side since I don’t camp in the warmer months.
From the back of the 4R. Once I adjusted it down and if I use Velcro behind the mirror it will be much better. I also bought the bag, but I think I will cancel that part of the order since there is a strap on the windshield cover. I paid just under $200, but that would have taken me more than $200 in man hours of my time.
